Plum Pretty by Laughing Sun Designs at Polka Dot Plum

Here's my second layout for Polka Dot Plum, and I have used Plum Pretty kit by Laughing Sun Designs. For this kit, I felt using my photo for the layout and I have so much fun. The combination of colors have made this kit versatile, in the sense that although at first you will be sure it's a girl kit, but then in the end, you can use this even for a masculine theme layout. There were also a lot of elements to put in, and of course, alphas.

Here is the layout I made using this kit. That's me, yeah, I am proud to show you photos of myself. LOL.

Misty Mountain by Farynar's Wings at Polka Dot Plum

My first layout as a Polka Dot Plum CT (Sugar Plum) is already uploaded in the gallery (PDP Gallery, DST Gallery and DSA Gallery). I have used Farynar's Wings kit called MISTY MOUNTAIN. I loved the kit, the muted blue and gray colors is just a perfect match, with elements that are well coordinated. There are various flowers to put together too. This is really a beautiful, versatile kit perfect for scrapping everything from special occasions to everyday pages.

The layout I made using Misty Mountain kit is also the one I used for the February RAK Challenge in Polka Dot Plum. Thanks to Shauna for offering her sister's photo for the RAK. Here is the layout I made, would love to read (hear) what you think about it :)

There is also a coordinating paper pack for Misty Mountain called Misty Mountain Must Haves. It consists of 12 beautifully textured papers.

My February Designers Assignment as Sugar Plum at Polka Dot Plum

The February Assignment has been out in the CT Forum. I am assigned to two new designers at Polka Dot Plum - Farynar's Wings and Laughing Sun Designs. Both are opening their stores this January end. After a few months, this will be my first try again to challenge my digital artistry skill. I hope it will not fail me, as I believe I still have it with me.

I am so excited to make my choices for my layout. I pick Misty Mountain kit from Farynar's Wings and Plum Pretty from Laughing Sun Designs.

We as Sugar Plum are required to create 3 unique LOs for the store, from which the 2 will be coming from the assigned designers. After completing the 2 LOs, it will be our choice of designer from whom the 3rd LO will be made out. I think I have made my choice. I want to use a kit from Lauren and Amy, I am not yet sure which I would choose, but I feel it will be My Quirky Valentine kit, since it fits for February, the heart month.

WOW! Sugar Plum I am!!!

I can't believe it, I was selected as one of the new Sugar Plum at Polka Dot Plum store. After some times I've been off the digital scrapping world, busy with the real life, still am but I think I needed the calming, relaxing effect that digiscrapping is giving me. I will do my best to fulfill my duties and responsibilities that it requires me. I missed being a part of a team, working for the store and all it's designers. I am happy to be, once again, belong!!!

You read it right ladies! I'm sharing my designs for free starting now. As a full time employee I was not able to give the much time needed not only for designing but also tending for the requirements and responsibilities I put myself with when I signed contracts to sell in a certain store. I really feel bad that I was not able to comply and help even in a small ways to the store I've been affiliated with in the past. And since I fell in love with digital scrapbooking, I just can't let it go this easily. So I am staying and once in a while will be posting Freebies just for you!
